We were approached by Lumix to create a design vision for a series of entry level point-and-shoot camera products aimed at the European female consumer market. This project was commissioned in 2011, before the rise of the smartphone and the demise of the entry level camera market. Our focus centred around researching how people plan, shoot, edit and share their moments, a foreshadow of the ‘selfie’ movement.
Developed around the creative theme ‘Lux Seduction’ this entry level compact camera product was designed to fit into the smallest of bags so that it can be taken everywhere, capturing fun and spontaneous moments when on a night out.
