Would it be beneficial to have donation boxes throughout the museum and not just by the entrance and exits? Could a donation box exist within a museum shop? Could each donation box represent funding to different initiatives? giving the visitor choice and a sense of involvement.

These were some of the questions we asked ourselves when designing a museum donation box for Museo Del Prado in Madrid. This lead to Geometry, a series of small polyhedrons strategically located around the museum. Designed in three different metal finishes: polished stainless steel, copper and corten steel, each material is chosen to complement the architectural space of the Prado buildings.
